WIO – Revamped Challenge – Day 1/4

Recap:

On Thurs. Mar 15, 2012, I started this journey with the Weight is Over program, created by Jason Whitney. The program reboots your pancreas. It is a low carb plan where you combine protein shakes with healthy food. I am seeing AMAZING results!
Rules, Rules, Schmules…..

You can do anything for four days, right?  Well practically.  So I’m going hardcore!

·         Drink all required water (it’s practically a small swimming pool)

·         No cheating!

·         No Diet Coke (ughh this one is especially tough for addicts like me lol)

·         Drink all shakes (even though I L-O-A-T-H-E the new chocolate-sorry Jason)

·         No snacks between meals except a string cheese (brutal)

·         Exercise 60 minutes each day (get off your ass man)
Energize Me!

I’ve been feeling all icky lately and its because I’ve been cheating and I keep saying, oh I’ll start back up right after this meal.  Lamers!  You get out what you put it, so that’s why I’ve been feeling so icky lately.

I look at healthy bodies and I really just want that for me.  I want a CHANGE in life. 

This big ol’ meat suit aint gonna hold me back no mo’!

I know what to do.  I’ve finally found a plan that WORKS BEAUTIFULLY, so I just need to do it.  DUH.  ::Slaps head::

It’s going to take me a while to get there, but that’s ok.  Make every day one day closer to my dream.
Day One, I Won….BARELY!

MORNING:

I feel awesome seriously!  I had my shake today for breakfast and then played with the baby a little, then I put on my smut tv and got on the treadmill for 20 minutes.

Seriously feeling great – such energy which I never have lol.  All in the attitude eh?

EXERCISE:  20 minutes treadmill

AFTERNOON:

I actually took all six baskets of laundry upstairs and folded half of it.  Woot!  My heel is still bothering me, but I choose to ignore it lol (as well as pain in back).

EVENING:

I picked up Sammi and then we went grocery shopping.  I did lots of other things involving activity tonight too:

·         Watering flowers and lawn (involving walking out and around back like 5 times…oh sprinklers I can’t wait for you!!!)

·         20 more minutes of treadmill (ow)

·         1 HR cleaning

·         1 HR folding laundry

·         30 minutes cleaning kitchen

RESULTS:

I KICKED ASS YO!  I’m just really proud of the fact that I met all my goals because I overcame MANY obstacles today mentally:

·         Didn’t want to do another 20 minutes of treadmill (counted my other activity as the remaining 20 minutes to make up the hour)

·         My feet were so hurting and my back-but hey that’s the bitch of being a biggie.  That’s why I’m doing this!

·         Drank only water when I REALLY wanted a Diet Coke, especially for my throat

·         Had craving that I ignored to stop at some fast food place & cheat

·         Resisted urge to get a treat @ grocery store

·         Didn’t buy a Diet Coke at the store either (pathetic, but seriously I used to do ALL of these things, bitch didn’t become heavy eatin’ carrots)

I’m awesome!  I WON THE BATTLE TODAY.  And I’m gonna keep on fighting J

Holly, I love reading about your day, because you just tell it like it is. You are seriously so funny! I love that McAffee humor!!!!! I am so excited to watch your journey and honestly it is motivating me to get off my ass and MOVE too! And eat better, oh I crave diet dr pepper, so I understand your pain. I love you my dear!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!
