I’M BACK BABY!


Did you miss me?  I know you did lol.  KISS KISS

And I bet you thought….oh man that girl is clueless and is never going to get it together (geez you big jerk!).  I think I thought that too for a while lol, hence why I keep falling short.

It’s tough.  But I’m sick of making excuses.  Just because I feel like I “NEED” something so bad, I’m not going to let that ‘TRAP’ me in this fatsuit anymore.  NO MAS! 

I’m so excited to have Lynndsey oversee everything now.  Now nothing was wrong with Thomas, but I just didn’t feel a friendly connection there anymore and I didn’t like how he ‘managed’ things – very hands off.  I need someone with a whip lol.

DAY ONE:

It was today.  I need to get some sweetener as breakfast with the oatmeal was pretty interesting lol.

I had a great test too.  I had breakfast pretty late as Sammi and I slept in.  Thankfully it was very filling because we didn’t eat again until almost 3:30!

Laurie came over with the kids (Hay-Max as Sammi likes to call Hailey & Max lol) pretty soon after breakfast and we went to the South Jordan Rec Center to go swimming which was way fun!  Those kids are awesome.  I’m still trying to get Sammi to get used to the water more though without holding on to me with a deathgrip lol.

But anyway they didn’t turn on the ‘splashy’ water & the big slide until 2 so despite that we were STARVING (look at me I’m starving lol), we wanted to wait.

I declined going to McD’s afterwards and ran home to get lunch which was a turkey sandwich with avocado and turkey bacon and then carrots and hummus.  It was quite delicious actually!

I’m really not minding my new meal plan at all.  Dinner is this homemade lasagna that she gave me the recipe for that was really hearty and filling so how cool is that!  I really think she gets it.  We actually want tasty food.  No bland!

I am trying to get used to the protein bars-I forget the brand but they taste pretty icky to me lol.  I’m eating quite frequently to boost the metabolism.

No exercise today as Sunday is my day off, although I believe I was kind of active in that I went swimming so that is at least something.

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:

·       Yellowstone trip is coming up!  Being in better shape will help me to keep up with everyone else J  Less embarrassment

·       SKINNY clothes:  I have a lot of shirts that are just shy of fitting.  They are just a bit too tight and just a few inches will do it.  That will be pretty quick so I’m stoked about that

CHALLENGES:

·       I got some really sobering news from a love one that I can’t share details of.  It kept me in tears last night to see a loved one suffering so.  I have hope though and I will be there for you dear one every step of the way

·       I’m still dealing with a lot of back, shoulder, & neck pain but I do have therapy starting tomorrow so we’ll see how that goes

·       Exercise:  It will be a challenge getting things in this week, but Lynndsey is going to send me an exercise plan for at home so that will be awesome.  I’m ready for the pain.  BRING IT ON!
