Aren't weekends sublime?

(So I’m not down in the dumps anymore-sheesh pity-party from Thursday is OVER thank heavens)

Wow it has been a fun-filled weekend.  Sammi and I went swimming with Laurie and Hailey at Seven Peaks Friday night.  Sammi and Hailey are the closest cousins-love those girls.  Hailey slept over which was really fun!

Then Saturday we babysat her other cousins – Blaze and Kiya.  After Sammi’s karate (we signed up though she is having a hard time going out there without Mom or Dad), we took them all swimming at the rec center.  We had such a blast.  Sometimes I feel like a fish- I could just LIVE in the water lol.

Today we went for a picnic at the park and I went for a walk that was half a mile.  I’m just happy that its getting better!  I’m gradually able to do a little bit more every day.

Tonight I’m going to make fajitas soon with our whole what tortillas.  I just love fajitas because they are healthy and they taste good!

Laurie and I had a really good talk today about the power of POSITIVE THINKING.

You have to ENVISION making your dream come true and you have to BELIEVE it will come true.  If you are just depressed about everything and figure nothing will change, NOTHING WILL CHANGE.  So the awesome thing is the POTENTIAL of that.  The first step is believing, and then you CAN do it.

So close your eyes right night – come on just do it (after you read this ha ha) and really think about what you want.  Now imagine yourself there, no imagine doing what you have to do to get there.  It’s totally worth the hard work to get there.  That’s the part we forget, right?

It’s a choice.  Like tonight I could be lazy and go get something for dinner, or I can go up and make the fajitas – it’s not that hard to make them, but it sure is easier to do nothing.  It just takes WORK!  We went for a little walk today, but I need to do some more tonight.  And it will hurt, but I’m going to do it.  Even shopping is a lot of work for me – everything is but this is what I have to do.

And you have to enjoy the process, even though it is painful.  I enjoyed that walk with Adam and Sammi (even though it was killing me) because we were outside enjoying nature together.  It was a wonderful feeling.  And there is some pride in eating a dinner you made.

Went to Sam’s club and bought a ton of healthy food.  That is a good feeling.  It was a lot of work, but its worth it.

Here is what I envision my week being like:

·       Once a week something fun for me – playing on a soccer league or being in a play

·       2 times a week Sammi has dance or karate or whatever (just like now)

·       I exercise 3 times a week

·       Once a week we do a physical activity together as a family (hike, etc)

·       We have 3 activities a week where we go for a walk, ride bikes, etc

·       Vacations – roller coasters (cuz my ass will fit then in those bucket seats), tubing, etc

·       Adam and I go dancing every once in a while
